Red City Kids

The Bible says that, “Children are a gift from the Lord” and we truly believe this here at Redemption City Church. Each and every child is extraordinary!

“Red City Kids” is our children’s ministry. Our goal is for each child to know that God loves them and that He wants to have a relationship with them through Jesus. We also want our children to LOVE coming to church…we therefore place a big priority on having fun together as we learn God’s Word.

We have created a safe, warm and friendly environment for children ages 2-14. Out in the foyer is our registration table for each parent or guardian to sign in their child. Sign in is available from 9:15am – 10:15am.

Children are included in our time of singing and worshiping. They will be excused by a leader shortly after this. You are welcome to escort your child to their class or to their teacher.

Ages 2-5

Ages 2-5 meet in the foyer. We have age-appropriate Bible stories, songs, crafts, games and playtime. We don’t just “baby-sit” your kids, but come alongside you in helping your kids love Jesus.

Ages 6-10

Ages 6-10 meet at our church office, which is a short walk from the MadCap. They have a large room dedicated to children’s ministry. You are welcome to walk with the kids and teachers and check out our facility if you desire!

Ages 11-14

Ages 11-14 meet every other week at Red City Cafe, which is a short walk from the MadCap. Check the sign in table before service to see which week they are meeting. You are welcome to walk with the kids and teachers and check out our facility if you desire!

The children enjoy lots of different activities and games, but our main objective is that the kids would experience God’s presence, learn about Jesus through the Bible and learn to love God and love people

Babies

Babies are to be looked after by their parent. If your child is fussy, please feel free use our parents room located through the door to the right of the stage. This is a great place to soothe, feed, and diaper, your baby while staying with them to keep them safe. There is a speaker in the room, so you will not miss out on what is being preached.

Your child’s safety is of utmost importance to us. All of our volunteers have followed an application procedure, including mandatory safety screening. There are safety policies in place, such as “no adult will ever be alone with a child”.
