FAQ

What should I expect when I come?

Warm friendly people, engaging worship, an applicable message that centers on God’s Word and an opportunity to encounter the presence of God.

What do I do when I get to Redemption City Church?

Once you arrive, come right in and make yourself comfortable. Grab a cup of coffee, mingle and meet new people, find a seat in the auditorium – it’s totally up to you! We’re pretty informal here.

Will I be forced to do something I don’t want to do?

No, you’re our guest. You will not be pushed to do anything you don’t want to do. We will not make you stand up in front of everybody as a first-time guest or introduce yourself. There are a lot of great people to meet and a lot of great things happening on a Sunday morning, but the level of your participation will be totally up to you.

What is the style of your worship services?

We are not just singing songs about God. We’re singing songs to God, because we believe He is present in our gatherings. We’re passionate about God, and the expressions of our passion are spontaneous and never forced. Sometimes, as we see modeled in the Bible, we’ll lift up our hands, close our eyes, dance or kneel.

What should I wear?

Whatever you normally wear. From business attire, to shorts and sandals, all are welcome. Typically, people are dressed casually.

What about my kids?

We offer care for children from 2 to 12 years old. You’ll be able to meet the teachers after the worship time when the children go to their classes. Children are encouraged to worship with the adults during the singing part of our service, then they go to their class. We have people ready to welcome you, and happy to help with any questions you may have. If you have kids, we’ll be ready to assist you in finding the appropriate classes, or addressing any special needs or concerns.

What about children under 2 years?

We have an area where parents can take their children during the service if they are unsettled and still hear the teaching; otherwise children are very welcome to join us in the Auditorium.
